Description
The woolly mammoth is one of the most famous extinct animals.
The mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) is related to the elephant, but it was more hairy to protect itself against the extreme cold of the Ice Age. Also, its ears were much smaller. An elephant’s big ears help to keep it cool; the mammoth on the other hand wanted to stay warm.
With this Dutch design by Piet Design – Make your own Mammoths you can now create your own duo of mammoths with cardboard and wool from Dutch sheep.
The Mammoths kit contains:
- 2 double brown and white cardboard skeletons
- 2 balls of Dutch sheep wool
- Detailed building instructions
You only need some scissors and glue to complete them!
