Description
The oldest sheep breed in the Netherlands is the Drents Heideschaap. These small sheep are very self-reliant on the poor moors. They were kept for wool and meat, but also mainly for manure. The Drenthe farmers needed the latter to turn sandy soils into fields, the so-called ‘essen’. Today, herds of heath sheep are used for grazing in nature reserves.
With this dutch design by Piet Design – Make your own Flock of Sheep you can now create your own flock of sheep with cardboard and cotton balls.
The Sheep kit contains:
- 9 double recycled brown cardboard buildable skeletons
- 3 balls of cotton in different colours
- Detailed building instructions
You only need some scissors and glue to complete your Flock!
