Cicada facts:

Cicadas are known as chunky, noisy insects with bright red-eyes, but don’t worry, this paper version won’t keep you up at night! Cicadas have prominent eyes set wide apart, short antennae, and membranous front wings. They have an exceptionally loud song, produced in most species by the rapid buckling and unbuckling of drum-like tymbals. More than 3,000 of cicada species exist, with the majority inhabiting the tropics.
