Triceratops facts:

The name Triceratops, which means ‘three-horned face’, is derived from the Greek language. The dinosaur lived during the late Maastrichtian age, about 68 to 66 million years ago in what is now western North America.

The Triceratops is one of the most recognizable of all dinosaurs and the best-known ceratopsian. Ceratopsia are a group of herbivorous, beaked dinosaurs that thrived in what are now North America, Europe, and Asia. It was also one of the largest, measuring around 8–9 metres long. It shared the landscape with and was most likely preyed upon by Tyrannosaurus.
